Spider-Man-Wallpaper/Black spidey Variant by shadefalcon Spider-Man-Wallpaper/Black spidey Variant by shadefalcon
Just thought I'd see if I could make a quick edit and I think it looks pretty good.
----------------------------------------------------------------

Getting in some more practice. This was both in figure drawing, and my style options. I did this one more as your standard comic look. Heavier ink, and quicker painted colors. Got one more drawing I did coming up soon. Based it off of a spiderman sprite from Mavrel's SNES VG, War of the Gems. Emulate it sometime, it's a great game.

Based on the pose, top row last sprite to the far right:

UGH I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

My only issue is that it looks like the torso muscles aren't flexing. :c

Maybe they could have a bit more I suppose. I went off the sprite reference a little more this time to try and create a larger scale version. Mostly because it's an unseen pose.

Ahh alright. That explains it. But that's something I've noticed when you draw humanoid figures. The torsos and chests always have so much prominence and definition..

Thanks dude.

It's probably just because of the way I intended this design. Though if you'd like to offer some crit on my sketches in the future, I'd be happy to send ya some stuff as I go along. I do that already with a couple of my friends, just in case I miss something.

A darker Spider-man is awesome c:, especially when he was gonna tilt (again) towards the Anti-Hero side.

Indeed. Plus it spawned the creation of venom and all the other symbiotes.

Yup. I wonder how it would have been if Spider-man stayed into the Anti-Hero side instead of becoming a Hero. I mean sure, there's the game Web of Shadows but still that would have been interesting.

They may have made it a comic story arc, like a mini-series for kicks. The industry does that often with VG's side-plots.
